The HR Payroll Generalist will be responsible for supporting the HR Department with the full end to end payroll functions for weekly and monthly payroll, collate, administer and facilitate the delivery of Payroll / Benefits documentation,, and ensure that the relevant submission deadlines are met, and ensure all processes s are followed up to conclusion.
Matric, HR Diploma, Degree or Masters
Criteria
Experience and proficient using SAGE VIP, MS office, advanced EXCEL, SAP would be advantageous.
5 to 10 years proven track record and as an HR Payroll Generalist
Ability to communicate effectively, openly and honestly
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Knowledge and experience of weekly and monthly payroll, payroll reports, statutory payments, compliance reports, working in a unionized environment.
Compliance of statutory requirements in terms of benefits, staff queries resolved accurately and efficiently. Recruitment and termination process are adhered to.
Employees appointed are adequately resourced.
Payroll information is accurate and timorous.
Feedback on queries is effectively and timorously communicated.
Leave efficiently managed.
HR Records are valid and complete.
Legal requirements are mt inline with statutory requirements and submissions.
