A word-class PGM Metals development project based in SA has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Consultant to run the SA operations. This Role requires at least 15 year’s post CA qualification & management experience. Mining Industry /Sector experience is necessary. The role is based in Gauteng.

Main job function
Full financial reporting and robust analysis to the international Exco Team
Financial position and operational analysis of the mining, processing and support areas
to local & international management and boards – operational reporting expertise
Statutory reporting for all entities for local and borrowing governance requirements
Audit liaison and delivery
Financial expertise team delivery
Develop, lead and manage the finance team
Financial, budgeting, forecasting - control, management and statutory reporting
Advise business leaders on financial/commercial/risk implications
Actively partner the business in cost control, asset optimization, system integration and
business improvement
Standardise processes, controls and reporting methodologies
Maximise funding, taxation and business strategies
Implement strong control Internal controls & over capital projects costs and structures
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Registered CA (SA)
Professional Registrations & Affiliations
15 years of Financial Control experience within the mining sector
SAP
Strong people management and organisational skills
