Main job function
Minimum of three years experience in the external sales environment
Experience of working in a sales orientated role with a good understanding and use of sales strategies and methodology
Developing sales plans and working with others to deliver both sales and profit targets
Selling in multi product / complex solution environments
A understanding of Engineering Drawings and or Piping and instrumentation diagrams
Contractual exposure within a sales role
A understanding and application of project management methodology
CRM or equivalent
Knowledge of engineering / engineering background
Basic understanding of sealing technology and applications
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Degree preferably in Engineering or technical related qualification
Time servied Mechanical / Maintenance Apprentice
Formal regonside sales qualification or working towards one
Valid drivers license
Customer focus
Exceptional sales techniques
Sound presentation and influencing skills
Build excellent relationships
Ability to problem solve and make focused and considered decisions
Adaptable to change, coaching and training
Knowledge of engineering terminology
Willingness to travel
