International Transport & Logistics company has a vacancy for a Field Sales Executive to manage their portfolio’s in the Gauteng Region. New business development, manage the tender process, maintain and service the base etc. Your previous experience in the clearing, forwarding & freight industry is essential to fulfill this role. Own reliable car, valid drivers license and post matric qualification is required.
Main job function
Obtain new business clients through prospecting, client interface, proposals, estimates and achieve specified sales targets.
Build relationships and service clients.
Develop and diversify the portfolio
Manage, compile, submit & manage SOP’s, SLA’s & Tender process
Prepare & submit annual budgets
Submit detailed reports
Handle & resolve operational & financial queries
Manage CRM system
Sales & marketing training/degree/diploma
Previous Clearing & Forwarding sales experience essential
3 years or more proven sales track record
Previous formal sales training
Well presented, professional individual with excellent written and verbal language skills.
Ability to effectively negotiate.
Ability to read and interpret financial information, including budgets, financial statements and P&L data.
Full computer literacy.
Ability to create and implement strategies.
Ability to work within a target driven and pressured environment.
