Main job function

To support business development activities in South Africa and the rest of Africa contributing to project delivery and management

Responsible for ensuring that all projects remain compliant in accordance with all applicable legislation, codes, and guidelines in alignment with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards

Responsible for ensuring that the permitting for the pipeline projects is tracked and updated periodically

Business and Project Development and Acquisition

Environmental Permitting

Bid Coordination: Environmental



Degree in Environmental Management

SAMTRAC or NEBOSH Certification

ESMS Implementation and Auditing qualification at a recognized institution


6-10 years working in the environmental, health and safety sector

Minimum of 3 years in the renewable energy sector where such experience has been obtained during the construction and operations phase

Extensive knowledge of IFC Performance Standards, legislative requirements, and the EIA process

Competence in Word, Excel, and Power Point
