My client is a leading Health and Safety training provider and they are looking for a competent and trustworthy Enterprise Account Manager to help build up their business activities.

Main job function

This role will primarily entail identifying and pursuing new sales prospects and maintaining successful and effective relationships with existing customers. The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.



Service existing accounts

Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to make necessary appointment and meetings with potential clients

Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Remain knowledgeable on products offered

Engage in regular meetings with the wider sales team to analyze pipeline as well as ensuring your pipeline is on track with the business expectation

Work closely with the marketing team to develop, support, and deliver successful campaigns

Proactive engagement with internal stakeholders to drive business results

Ensure up to date knowledge regarding developments within the standards industry and the ability to explain standard development processes to customers

Ability to apply product features and benefits to customer needs to win business

Ability to apply knowledge of competitors to explain the full business advantages of products.





Valid drivers license

Matric (Grade 12)

Fluent in English



Proven experience as a business development advisor or similar, relevant role

5 Plus years proven experience in HSE training sales

Excellent computer skills, specifically in MS Dynamics and MS Teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills

Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills

Entrepreneurial mind set self-motivated and adaptable, able to work on your own initiative

Strong upselling skills

Project management skills

Strong organization and problem-solving skills

Strong relationship building skills both internal and external

Demonstrate a genuine passion for the business, communicating, sharing, and acting upon a meaningful vision for the future

Customer centric approach in resolving queries

Strong knowledge of support services and operations

Outstanding customer service and excellent telephone manner

Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

Strong reporting skills

Ability to work in a highly confidential environment

Ability to process large volumes of work
