Job Description:

An Electrical Distribution Company in Cape Town is looking for Electrical Supervisors for a 3 MONTH CONTRACT in Brackenfell to start immediately.

Main job function

This position is a supervisory role, contributing to the team actively participating as a member of a team to move the team towards the completion of goals


Electricians Certificate - Heavy Current


Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Heavy Current

To ensure that Health and Safety is adhered to

To provide guidance and assistance as part of a work team

To be able to take directions from a Project Manager

To be able to direct the crew independently in the absence of a Project Manager

To be able to work under limited or no supervision

To understand and be able to implement the company policies and procedures

To be able to multitask and assist with other roles when required

To understand that work may be required at more than one site

Must be able to order and forecast job materials required for project

Sign off stock received and submit documents to the office

Prepare drawings / site instructions

Ensure that electrical equipment is in proper condition and update inventories

Ensure that ladders and scaffolding are in proper condition to be used

Liaise with management, engineers and clients

Attend site as well as office meetings

Assist with tests when project is completed

Where necessary performing the work of an Elconop 1,2&3

Have an advanced understanding of the project scope & purpose

Have an advanced understanding of the project cost/program production

Developed relations with clients & other project teams/engineers
