Main job function
The successful applicant will perform all relevant duties and activities in relation to the Economic Development obligations of Projects in South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa. Client is an IPP active in building, operating and maintaining renewable power plants (wind and solar). He/She will work closely with the planning and control department and all the other business units in order to ensure full compliance of the projects with the local regulation.
Degree, preferably in Economics or related.
4+ years of relevant experience in a similar position, particularly with exposure to renewable energy.
Excellent command of MS Office tools, and knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
Ability to keep deadlines, be organised, pro-active and self-directed.
Ability to use independent judgment and solve technical problems.
