Global insurance, reinsurance & risk management company is looking for a Corporate Claims Technician to provide effective management and processing of Corporate Claims for a 3-month contract period. Previous corporate claims experience is essential for this role.
Main job function
To ensure all claims are processed in a professional and efficient manner
Providing advice regarding the instituting of a claim and the process involved.
Processing of insurance claims
Collect accurate data/information and/or documentation to attend to a claim
Assess claims submitted
Contacting service providers
Administer, monitor and maintain accurate claims records
Liaise and building relationships with clients, insurers and service providers
Ensure all claims settlements as well as recoveries comply with VAT legislation
Participate in negotiations with accounts executives/attorneys/service providers
Taking appropriate action for recovery against third parties and monitoring progress
Client relationship management
Compliance Management etc
DOFA & qualification recognised by FSCAMust meet Fit and Proper requirements for Representatives
Registered with the FSB
DOFA & qualification recognised by FSCA
Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate short-term insurance claims environment Good knowledge of short-term insurance products, markets and claims processing
Skilled in processing claims, good report writing skills
Good negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong client-relationship skills, including written and oral communication
