Client in the higher education industry is seeking the services of an experienced, and dynamic CORPORATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT, based in Sandton
Main job function
Generating new leads from businesses through corporate presentations or activations and turning them into opportunities for sales.
Penetrate new target segment.
Create and adhere to sales protocols and procedures designed to increase conversion rates and improve incoming sales interactions.
The ability to close sale opportunities
Demonstrates advanced products knowledge
Contacting potential customers via telephone, email and face to face. Adheres to follow up processes and procedures.
Meet with customers, both in and out of the office
Working to KPI’s and revenue targets.
Negotiating challenges, the potential customer might have to ensure they close the sales.
Identifying opportunities for new business within the market.
Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.
Building long term relationships with new and existing customers.
Ensuring all administration and records relating to sales is completed effectively.
Brand Ambassador grow brand awareness and build relationships.
Assisting students with course information and general queries.
Registering students by assisting them to complete the registration forms as well as processing payments e.g. credit card transactions.
Coordinate events and Open Days.
Liaise with students and SSC coordinatorsEducation minimum of a degree (NQF 7), an IMM GS qualification (Degree preferable).
3-5 years’ sales experience.
3 years + telesales experience
3 + years B2B selling
Code 8 and own reliable transport must be willing to travel.
Ability to penetrate, network and build relationships within the corporate clients and maintain relationships with current clients.

Operational Effectiveness:
Strong and confident with telephonic sales
Achieve 240 minutes of call time per day
Achieve daily, weekly and monthly KPI targets
Ensure CRM system is continuously up-to-date
Be punctual, responsible and diligent in all tasks and duties attended to
Complete accurate and timely sales administration records
Submit to the Manager all relevant reports, paperwork and update on all forward sales activity
Any additional responsibilities as required from time to time
