Job Description:

Our client a Law Firm based in Pretoria requires a Commercial Secretary. Salary negotiable. Ghostwriter 5 years’ experience

Main job function

Dictaphone and copy typing a wide range of documents often lengthy and with complex layouts

Retrieve legal texts from electronic databases for inclusion in the documents

Make amendments if necessary to complex documentation

Preparing client files

Posting fees, invoicing and collections of money for clients and from clients

Maintain an efficient and effective filing system

Ability to work across the company for different lawyers

Multitask

Cope under pressure

Communicate extremely well in English and Afrikaans, both written and verbally

Accuracy in work and typing with a minimum of 60 wpm

Qualifications:

Matric, Secretarial or legal secretary certificate or Diploma

Experience:

Minimum 5 years working in a Law Practice as a Commercial Secretary
