Job Description:

High-end business focused conference centre based in Parktown is looking for energetic, resilient go getter to join their team

Main job function

While the role and responsibilities will not necessarily be limited to those set out below, key areas of focus include:

Servicing client conferencing needs efficiently, accurately and in a friendly and professional manner

Preparation of standard and custom quotes/proposals depending on client needs

Performing all administration relating to conferencing

Performing all logistics relating to conferencing

Supplier sourcing and management as necessary

Sourcing quotes for 3rd party equipment, etc

Management reporting as required

Client follow up to secure quotations sent and solicit new business

Invoicing of clients accurately and timeously

Function sheet management

Ensure the smooth flow of functions and events through accurate processing of information and proactive management of the event

Client Liaison

Ad-hoc duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Matric and relevant tertiary education

Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience in a client focussed environment

Conferencing and/or events background preferable

Proven track record in efficient administration

Own transport

Valid and unendorsed driver’s license

Must be available and willing to attend after hours functions

Must be willing to travel to clients and/or suppliers within Gauteng as required Proven track record in client liaison/good interpersonal skills
