Main job function
Experience of working in a sales orientated role with a sound understanding and uses of sales strategies and methodology
Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of engineering / engineering background
Understanding of sealing technology and applications across a broad section of industries
Expertise in providing sealing solutions to a wide range of industry / market sectors
Creating sales plans and working with others to drive sales and profit targets
Targeting and actively selling in multi product / complex solution environments
Experience of addressing technical issues whilst working in a sales role environment
Contractual exposure within a sales role and understanding of terms and conditions
Experience of campaign management
Strong evidence of network development and management at multiple business levels
Knowledge of engineering terminology
Able to read and understand engineering drawingsQualifications
Degree qualification or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or technical related qualification
Formal recognized sales qualification or working towards ISMM
Criteria
Valid drivers license
Customer focused with exceptional customer service ethos
Credible, professional and emotionally intelligent
Strategically focused, with excellent commercial and analytical skills
Exceptional sales techniques especially in consultative and value selling
