Job Description:

An International Company has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to develop the Mining Sector.

To be responsible for the continued growth of sales revenues of mechanical and electro mechanical Security products within the allocated region.

Main job function

Selling / Marketing of Hi-tech mechanical, locking systems and related items into the market at a high level.

Finding and establishing new customers within existing and new markets Mining Sector.

Grow and further develop existing accounts to broaden the existing product mix to include both mechanical and electromechanical locking devices and a new electro mechanical key and cylinder system.

Build strong relationships with market influencers; to include end users, architects, security consultants, M&E consultants, project managers, and market specialists to maximize opportunities for the creation of long term sales growth within given markets.

Educating, training, and advising end users and influencers to create specifications and sales of electronic and mechanical products.

Work with other members of the market development team to realize team and company targets.

Working closely with customers to deliver projects and specifications on time and to budget.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Relevant Business Related Degree desirable

Experience with Access Control Products desirable

Minimum of 10 years experience selling to the Mining Industry

Experience:

Experience/Criteria

A proven track record of sales to the Mining Industry

Ability to specify products

Comprehensive understanding of value-selling technics and value assessment

Approach, to build up successful business cases, leading to closing of orders.

Understanding of ROI models, and ability to translate user information into a compelling investment decision

Have the ability to problem solve and provide solutions on an individual basis.

Be willing / able to travel extensively with prolonged driving periods
