Job Description:

Client in the Higher Education industry is seeking the services of an experienced BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT to join their dynamic team based in SANDTON

Main job function

Responsible for prospecting for new business and responsible to penetrate, network and build relationships with new corporate clients and maintain relationships with current corporate clients.

Responsible for booking presentations (Face-to-face or digital presentations) with corporates

Responsible for selling all IMM products which includes full academic programs, short courses and customized workshops

Generate leads from corporates presentations and activations.

Responsible for selling short courses, corporate packages and bespoke workshops through presentations and activations.

Responsible for the conversion of own leads generated and digital into new student registrations

Responsible for adding and updating leads in CRM system and weekly activity report.

Key account management responsibility for new corporate clients

Submit to the Manager all relevant reports, paperwork and update on all forward sales activity

Any additional responsibilities as required from time to time

3 presentations or activations per week. ·

10 new corporate sign ups per annum with +10 or more students.

4 short course packages and/or bespoke workshops sold per month

240 minutes call time per day

MUST: Code 8 and own reliable transport, must be willing to travel.

Qualifications:

Education minimum of a degree (NQF 7), an IMM GS qualification (Degree preferable).

Experience:

Ability to penetrate, network and build relationships within the corporate clients and maintain relationships with current corporate clients.

Generating new leads from businesses and corporate presentations and turning them into opportunities for sales.

Create and adhere to sales protocols and procedures designed to increase conversion rates and improve incoming sales interactions.

The ability to close sale opportunities

Demonstrates advanced products knowledge

Contacting potential customers via telephone, email and face to face. Adheres to follow up processes and procedures.

Meet with customers, both in and out of the office

Working to KPI’s and revenue targets.

Negotiating challenges, the potential customer might have to ensure they close the sales.

Identifying opportunities for new business within the market.

Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.

Building long term relationships with new and existing customers.

Ensuring all administration and records relating to sales is completed effectively

Strong and confident with telephonic sales
