Job Description:

Our Client, a specialist hospital based in Pretoria, is looking for suitable qualified, driven individual to join their team


This position reports to the Chief Executive Office and will be responsible for the following performance areas:




• Creating a detailed business analysis (qualitatively and quantitively), outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business

• Conducting stakeholder analysis, plan business analysis activities:

• Assessing doctors’ procedure costs vs best practice

• Looking @ doctors’ performance in terms of admissions / revenue etc

• Assess and validate possible solutions to business requirements

• Recognising opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes

• Measure business impact/benefit after implementation of projects

• Analyse the business using Trimed and various reports from Medical Aids and NHN

• Business Growth:

• Organic Growth – protect & grow core business – new doctors etc. Accelerated growth

• New Business initiatives – implementation



• Industry Associations Management

• NHN – All communication to and from

• Medical Aids - Escalating Authorization -DSP’s Reimbursement



• Packs & Reports

• CEO Report

• Matters Arising


NQF7 in Business/Commerce related field


4-6 years post qualification experience in a similar position, preferably in healthcare industry

Experience in financial modelling and developing business cases

Strong analytic ability with proven experience in analysing of data

Sound financial acumen

Relevant medical scheme and private hospital experience is a recommendation
