Job Description:

Major Manufacturing plant in Middleburg has a vacancy for an Analyst to administer the Company’s Remuneration and Benefit programs under the supervision of the R & R Manager.  You will be responsible for market research, the design, recommendations, implementation and monitoring of the reward strategies, policies, procedure, frameworks that encompass reward programs, incentive schemes, executive compensation, bonuses and equity plans. This role requires a minimum of at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in data analysis, job grading & employee benefits administration.

Main job function

Statistical analysis.

Pay scale design and management

Salary benchmarking (internal and external)

Job evaluation and grading,

Process optimisation.

Administer employee benefits.

Evaluate and analyse job duties and responsibilities.

Put together an equitable and competitive salary in consultation with the R&B Manager.

Evaluate or assess market data and remuneration trends.

Make recommendations for new appointment salaries, promotion and interim assignments.

Participate in remuneration surveys and analyse resulting data.

Preparation of reports and analytical support.

Routine checks and audits.

Administer employee benefits
B. Com Finance or B Com Human Resource Management with 3 – 5 years’ experience in data analysis, job grading & employee benefits administration

Understanding of Total Rewards Management, HRM and Governance principles.

Stay current and updated on the market development, remuneration and benefits best practices, relevant legal, legislative, governance compliances and requirements.

Must have strong statistical, analytical and research skills.



High ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.

Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Must be able to negotiate with various stake holders at multiple levels.

Ability to deal effectively with conflict & being proactive.

Good communication skills.

Must work well under pressure.

High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
