A Company based in Johannesburg is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenues through the acquisition of new enterprise customers and logo’s, but also increase revenue within selected existing customers. You will also need to be an ambassador of the Company, ensuring awareness of the brand and its capabilities within the ICT/ISP environment. Creating an image that upholds the Company vision in the eyes of the customer is a key objective that uniquely separates them from its competitors.

Main job function
Planning and executing sales strategies
Responsible for identifying and acquiring new business
Up and cross selling within key existing accounts
Increase sales and revenue within global multinational customers
Track record of achieving assigned targets and over achieving of set targets
Identifying potential customers that fall within the defined target customers
Analysing opportunities by researching potential customers before and during sales execution
Maintain a relationship with customers and provide consultation, support and guidance
Build a detailed and correctly qualified pipeline of selected prospects
Provide bi-weekly sales reports and analysis on customers
Global customer exposure across different markets and verticals
Work both individually and as part of a team where appropriate
Fulfil any training and/or examination requirements as per the Company’s skills and certification matrix
Be willing to carry out or assist with such tasks as may be required to achieve deliverables, or as reasonably requested by a member of Company
Regularly familiarize yourself with Company’s portfolio of Products and Services, Customers, Suppliers and internal Procedures
Be a professional and courteous representative at all times
Minimum of 2 years + selling in a role with high end multi nationals
Strong existing business relationships with customers in target industries
Extremely comfortable dealing at senior management levels
Experience in negotiating contracts & closing sales with annual contract value of R5 million+
A proven track record of sales success meeting annual targets
International sales experience
Strong work ethic, self - starter and driven to succeed
Ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal skills
Positive and winning attitude
Strong computer skills
2 - 5 years’ experience within the relevant industry
2 years + successfully selling and networking within the industry
Knowledge in selling across ICT business services
Administratively competent to provide accurate documentation, proposals and internal procedural process requirements
