A great opportunity exists for a Media and Communications Researcher in Gauteng with a large organisation.
Qualifications
• LLB degree
Experience/Criteria
• An LLM in Media/Broadcasting/Telecommunications law would be advantageous
• Strong research capabilities
Competencies and personal attributes:
• Efficient and well - organised
• Attention to detail
• Reliable
• Motivated and takes initiative
• Strong team player
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work under pressure
Main Job Function
• Monitor media and communications law developments in South Africa
• Monitor international developments in media and communications law internationally, most notably in the EU, UK, USA Canada and Australia, and the rest of Africa
• Bring key developments to the attention of the Department and key clients
• Maintain the electronic and hard copy filing system
• Conduct research on specific topics (SA, Africa and international)
