Main job function
• To grow investments by identifying, sourcing and bringing on profitable and sustainable new clients.
• To manage relationships with existing clients in a manner that assures optimal growth and continuous profitability.
• To act as strategic business partners to investment clients and to ensure they are provided with the intended investment product value proposition and service excellence.
Description
• Act as central point of coordination between treasury and clients
• Preform role of treasury consultant to all internal stakeholders
• Attend relevant investment management forums in the region
• Effectively market treasury products and Omm internally
• Engage, build relationships and “partner” with internal stakeholders
• Efficiently handle administrative matters such as completion and preparation of forms and documentation
• Apply and adhere to treasury and Omm policies, procedures and standards
• Compile monthly sales reports and submit timeously
• Compile and submit operational activity and expense reports such as, activity reports i.e. SharePoint, mileage claim reports and entertainment claim reports
• Ensure treasury clients and Omm agents in portfolio comply with all statutory and group compliance requirements
• Attend training and ensure personal compliance with all relevant compliance regulations, policies and procedures e.g. Fica, Fais, money laundering etc.
• Provide and maintain excellent service to treasury clients and Omm agents
• Respond to queries/needs in a prompt and appropriate manner
• Provide technical support and/or ensure service excellence in provision of technical/system functionality to clients/agent
• Give only product specification and facts to existing and prospective clients
• Act as trusted business partner to treasury clients and Omm agents on an every-day basis
• Remain abreast with changing financial and investment market trends and competitor developments
• Do not act as investment advisor to existing and potential clients
• Develop and manage sales strategies relating to treasury/investment products and Omm for portfolio in alignment with division and regional sales targets
• Implement sales strategies and operational plans
• Monitor effectiveness of sales strategies and make timeous amendments when or if necessary
• Grow bank`s investment market share and footprint in the region through acquisition of sustainable new investments and online money manger agents
• Effectively market the investment product range , including Omm product ,and actively promote cross sell across the bank`s portfolio
• Network and build purposeful business relationships
• Constantly identify, follow up and mange business leads
• Introduce other divisions and/or hand-over leads to these parties in a manner that will promote a probability of a business deal closure
